Who We Are

Medallion Cremation Urn Vaults are designed and manufactured by Century Plastics.

Century Plastics was formed in 1975. Our first manufacturing facility was a converted 500 square foot garage in Richmond that we equipped with a homemade steel frame and a bunsen propane burner to heat the resin. Today, we are still located in Richmond, B.C. Our facility has expanded to 20,000 square feet and three computerized turret rotomolding machines that manufacture cremation urn vaults in addition to our commercial and industrial products.

In the early 1990s, we were asked to design and manufacture a cremation urn vault for a memorial wall, which we did as a one-time custom order. Several years later, while visiting a local cemetery on a personal matter, one of our owners was introduced to plastic cremation urn vaults. Knowing how precious the contents are, our owner manufactured a sample vault. After seeing our sample, the cemeterian asked us to develop three prototypes to meet their requirements. We did and Medallion Cremation Urn Vaults were born. Today, we continue to work with funeral homes and cemeteries to develop cremation urn vaults that meet the needs of the families and loved ones they serve.
